BoatTail - Telescopic Cheek Riser for the B&T SPC-9 & SPC-45

Capitalizing on every available millimeter of design envelope, the BoatTail is engineered to enable a natural cheek weld while fitting cleanly on the SPC series of subguns. It works seamlessly, requiring no additional inputs from users: it telescopes rearward when the stock is deployed, and it stows flush when the stock is collapsed.

1. Type III hardcoat anodize on 7075-T6 aluminum clamp
2. Cerakoted PA11 riser
3. Vibra-Tite VC-3 applied to all roll pins and clamping screws
4. Loctite 410 applied to shoulder screws
5. Fluid Film coating on springs
6. Super Lube Silicone + PTFE applied to T channel

The BoatTail is constructed of Cerakoted MJF PA11 and
type-III hardcoat anodized 7075-T6 billet aluminum. The Limited "White Phos" Edition is additionally coated with Elite Series Carbon Grey Cerakote, uniquely laser engraved, and finished with titanium fasteners.

Each BoatTail's riser and clamp are a matched pair—risers are designed with very close clearances to the clamp's T-rail such that the initial fit is unable to slide freely. The smooth action with minimal play is achieved by thermal forming the riser to the clamp, and then, once cold, hand burnishing the pair to final fit.

Lastly, the BoatTail features the Lattice Tactical design motif of external isogrids, geometry optimized for its strength-to-weight ratio and traditionally relegated to the aerospace industry.
